Suzhou Preteridea Creative Design Co., Ltd. is a design studio. We build modular structures and custom furniture out of standard aluminium profiles, birch marine plywood and acrylic — and we write the software we need to design them.

We develop our own tools. Reudex is a local-first knowledge base for macOS; the rest is what we use in the workshop to design, quote and build.
We are a small studio in Suzhou. Our work sits where structure meets material: standard industrial components, cut and assembled to fit a particular room, a particular shop, a particular shelf.
We design and build under our own name, and we make the software we use to do it. Everything we deliver is drawn, dimensioned and documented before it is cut.
